Nigeria’s powerhouse vocal and superstar, Simi celebrates her 33rd birthday, on April 19th.

Simi released this mid-tempo pop record blend with Afrobeats vibe and a take on R&B on April 16th, 2020.
Produced by Oscar, the song play on the sound the artist’s heart makes when she thinks about her love interest. Duduke“, according to the artist means the beat of a heart or drum, and in the song, she uses a beat to describe her heartbeat for her unborn child whom she refers to as a guardian angel.

Joromi
In August 2017, Simi served us with this amazing song. It is the 2nd track off her Simisola body of work.
Personally, this is one of my favorite tracks from the singer since her debut. Enjoy!
Jericho ft. Patoranking
Here, the songstress features dancehall legend, Patoranking. This record is a blend of RnB with Dancehall, produced by Vtek. Fans loved this collaboration most especially because it’s a dancehall track.
Likewise, Simi was able to try out a new genre and she blended perfectly well.
Aimasiko
This is another hit song, from her second studio album, dubbed “Simisola”. As a matter of fact, the song is a cover of veteran Nigerian Juju singer, Ebenezer Obey‘s Aimasiko track.
Love Don’t Care
Simi shows us a deeper meaning of the word love – it cares for the next person irrespective of status, religion, or ethnicity.
This is a 2016 track and so far one of the most amazing! The single was produced by Oscar with additional production (guitar) by Fiokee, mixed and mastered by Simi herself.
Ayo
This is her first solo single for 2019 after the release of “Promise” with Adekunle Gold.
In the light of enjoying her honeymoon with her husband Adekunle, she released this song.
“Ayo” means (Joy) and it was produced by Legendury Beatz. Listen and Enjoy!

Today marks the 2 year anniversary the singer released this track featuring her husband, Adekunle Gold.
This is a track off her Omo Charlie Champagne album.
Gone for Good
Moving on is never the easiest thing. It’s a grudgingly long process that demands to be taken seriously (talk about vindictive). Simisola moves to this point with her video for “Gone for Good”, directed by Joziewood.
Also, this is another track of her 2017 studio project!

In this masterpiece, she confesses her undying love to her spouse who completes her in every way. She never knew she would love him so much that without him by her side life would be meaningless.

Here comes another banger from Simi’s second studio album, Simisola.
Coining from the lyrics, you should not struggle to understand this track.

No Longer Beneficial
‘No Longer Beneficial’ is her first song released under Platoon, her ‘Restless II’ released in 2020. This is also the first single she released after the birth of her daughter, Adejare Kosoko in June 2020.
There For You
On ‘There For You’, Simi features British rapper Ms Banks who delivers a dope verse on the record.
Before this track, the Nigerian singer released her lead single ‘No Longer Beneficial‘ which the fans are currently enjoying.
This one was produced by Oscar.

Jamb Question
After the successful release of her last singles in 2015, – the infectious “Tiff” and “E no go funny”, Simi releases ‘Jamb Question’.
This mid-tempo afro-pop tune sees Simi display fantastic vocals on the melodious instrumental, produced by Oscar Herman-Ackah. In addition, she delivers a remix the following year featuring Falz.

Foreign x Falz
In 2016, these two close friends Falz and Simi put in a couple of collaborations and produced an EP together titled Chemistry.
Off this EP comes this track titled Foreign! Having a talented rapper and sensational singer on a track defines the outcome.
One Kain
One Kain is very relatable, especially as it addresses issues concerning women who love without abandon and who might go against standard societal expectations in ensuring their affections are returned. It is also the seventh song from her Simisola album.
Selense
On ‘Selense’ (which also means gently), Simisola talks about the importance of working with Time in life, making use of it at the right moment & phase of life. ‘Make Hay While The Sun Shines‘, though life na Jeje but don’t go too easy and sleep on your moment or forget about the future.

Chemistry x Falz
This is a collaborative extended play (EP) by Nigerian rapper Falz and Simi. Prior to the release of the EP, it was rumored that both Falz and Simi were dating.
The promotion of the EP saw them release pre-wedding-themed photos on social media before finally announcing the release of the EP in an industry night event, where they jointly performed.
Upon its release, Chemistry was met with positive reviews from mainstream music critics!
Also, the song which bears the title of the EP stands as the 5th track off the 7 tracks.

Original Baby (Remix) ft. 2Baba
Simi teams up with iconic Nigerian singer, 2Baba to serve a remix to one of her widely accepted singles, “Original Baby“. The single is off the deluxe version of her album and the track produced by Oscar.
City Lights
Having just signed her deal with Platoon, Simi releases this track on her ‘Restless II’ EP. On ‘City Lights‘, the songstress makes music that is different from what we have known from her.

From her sophomore studio album Simisola, she releases“Take Me Back” featuring her husband, Adekunle Gold.
This song is an exclusive teamwork from the couple and an amazing blend of vocals. As a matter of fact, in an interview with Pulse Nigeria, she revealed the song had been recorded 2 years prior to the release in 2017.

This record “Mind Your Business” is off her Omo Charlie studio project. She sends warning to nosy people, busybodies to mind their business, stop the gossip and backbiting. Falz comes in to share his own side too, people asking him why he didn’t marry Simi and all.

HipHop hurray
This is the twelfth song from the Simisola album. Like the O Wa N’be track, this is also a party jam on which she conveys the message in Ecclesiastes 3, that there is time for everything.
She tries to encourage her listener to find time to chill after a period of hustle, but she also adds that – no forgeti your ginger, no forgeti your lover

Angelina
Here, the mother of one, complains to her man about having a side chick called Angelina and she doesn’t like it. She displays her jealous side in this track and wishes he sees the best of her.
However, she is yet to release the video for this song!
Tiff
There is a popular saying that everything has a starting point/breaking point. Well, for Simi this song is termed her breakthrough song.
It was released on 9 June 2014 as the first of two singles, with the latter titled “E No Go Funny”
Upon its release, the song was nominated in the “Best Alternative Song” category at The Headies 2015.
Clearly, this song is worth being on the 33 amazing & reflective songs since Simi’s debut.

This is another wonderful track from her Omo Charlie Champagne album.

With her powerful vocals, she dishes out this track featuring Nigerian and UK Based singer/producer, Maleek Berry.

Haven being dumped by her boo, Simi stresses the need to move on. She reveals how badly she wants her man back Hopelessly wanting you, baby and how he promised her he would never leave.

This track came in anticipation of her highly anticipated debut album Simisola which is due for release in the first quarter of this year and later released in the latter 2017.

Upon its release, ‘Open and Close is for all the party lovers this Season, we’ve got a lot to be thankful for this year’, the X3M Music act says.
The video for the song which was shot by MEX is a comical story that sees Simi and her ‘gang’ end up schooling a bunch of ‘prim and proper party guests on how to properly turn up, Naija style!
