Fireboy DML has released his fifth studio album, ZUKO!, a 13-track project that sees the Nigerian singer explore fresh sounds, blending Afrobeats with Jamaican dancehall and South African musical influences.

Released through YBNL Nation and EMPIRE, the album arrives two years after Adedamola, his 2024 project, and finds Fireboy embracing a more confident creative direction over an eclectic mix of instrumentals.
The new body of work features Nigerian acts Lojay and Judah Earl, Jamaican dancehall star Masicka, and South African talents JAZZWRLD and Thukuthela. Their contributions bring different musical textures to a project that further reflects Fireboy’s evolution since his debut.
The album opens with Dear Father, featuring Judah Earl, before moving into By Fire! and CLAAT!, featuring Masicka. Other collaborations include GODDESS with Lojay and IMALI with JAZZWRLD and Thukuthela.

The remaining tracks are C’EST LA VIE, ONE MAN REGIMENT, KILOWI, ONAZO!, S.L.U.T (SEX LOVE UNDERSTANDING TRUST), LIGHT OF DAWN, MIMI NAWE and FIGHTING.
Fireboy first established his sound with his 2019 debut album, Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps, which notably arrived without guest features. Since then, projects such as APOLLO (2020), Playboy (2022) and Adedamola (2024) have charted his progression as an artist willing to explore different styles and musical identities.
Ahead of the release, the singer shared THE RED COUCH SESSION: ZUKO! on YouTube, offering fans a closer look at the album’s concept, title, and rollout.
With ZUKO!, Fireboy adds another chapter to his catalogue, bringing together sounds from different parts of the world while continuing to expand his musical identity.
