Nigerian DJ DJ Tunez has broken his silence to provide his account of the alleged altercation involving Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy.

In a series of posts on social media, the Starboy DJ described being attacked from behind in what he called an “unprovoked” incident, labeling the move a “sign of weakness.” According to Tunez, the confrontation escalated quickly, involving Burna Boy and several members of his entourage, creating a scenario he described as “1 vs 10.”
Despite being heavily outnumbered, DJ Tunez said he managed to defend himself during the scuffle.
He wrote:
“You hit me in the back of my head without me looking,” adding that Burna Boy also sustained blows once he began to fight back.
The cause of the confrontation remains unverified, and Burna Boy’s camp has yet to respond publicly to the allegations. Nevertheless, Tunez’s posts have ignited widespread discussion online, with fans and observers weighing in on the controversy across social media platforms.
The incident continues to dominate conversations in Nigeria’s music circles, highlighting tensions between rival fan bases and the challenges of managing public confrontations involving high-profile artists.
1 VS 10 AND I STOOD MY GROUND. THAT’S WHY YOU COLLECTED AS WELL, WHEN I DEFENDED MYSELF.
