Nigerian-American Afrosoul sensation WurlD has officially lifted the veil on the tracklist and cover art for his much-awaited project, Metal Hearts, which is slated for release on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
The announcement, made across his social media platforms, sent fans into a wave of excitement, each post fueling anticipation for what promises to be one of his most defining creative eras yet.

Metal Hearts will consist of eight tracks, each carrying WurlD’s signature “electro-fusion” sound, that seamless mix of Afrobeats, R&B, and electronic vibes that has become uniquely his.
The project also features collaborations with Tanzanian artist Marioo on Lighter and Echolocation on Faya. Other notable songs include the soul-stirring Peace At War, the rhythm-heavy Dance All Night, and, of course, the title track, Metal Hearts.
Accompanying the tracklist reveal, WurlD shared the album’s mesmerizing cover art, a sculptural portrait of himself cast in a blue-green patina, echoing the look of weathered bronze.

The artwork symbolizes resilience and emotional depth, tying beautifully into the themes the album explores. Subtle design elements, such as nods to Benin City and the familiar “AC” logo, pay tribute to his Nigerian heritage while reinforcing the balance between heritage and modern sound that defines his artistry.
Over the years, WurlD has built a devoted following through projects like I Love Girls With Trobul with Sarz and hits such as Show You Off. His music has always been more than just rhythm; it’s emotion, reflection, and experimentation wrapped in one.
With Metal Hearts, the award-winning singer seems set to elevate his craft even further, delivering an experience that’s both introspective and sonically daring.
As November 11 approaches, the buzz only gets louder. And judging by the visuals, collaborations, and overall concept, Metal Hearts could easily mark a new high point in WurlD’s ever-evolving journey.
