‘I Don’t Like the Old Me’ – DJ Cuppy.
Nigerian superstar DJ, philanthropist, and singer Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has sparked rumours of a career shift after sharing her thoughts on possibly leaving DJing.
In a recent post on her official account on X (formerly Twitter), DJ Cuppy expressed that, although DJing remains her passion, she feels ready for a new phase that allows her to make a “bigger impact.” Her post hinted at personal growth and a desire to explore new opportunities. She shared:
“DJing is my passion, but to be honest, this year has felt like a whole new experience. It’s as if I’m meant to level up and make a bigger impact. Only God knows what’s next.”
One fan reacted in the comments, encouraging her to return to her old DJing style, admitting he missed her original vibe on Instagram. “Start DJing again. I have missed your vibes on IG. I don’t like the new you at all,” he wrote.
DJing is my passion, but tbh this year has felt like a whole new experience, like I’m meant to level up and make a bigger impact.. Only God knows what’s next 👀🤞🏾
