Wizkid confirms release date for ‘Morayo,’ shares new snippet & pre-save link
Nigerian music icon Ayodeji Balogun Ibrahim, better known as Wizkid, has officially announced the release date for his much-anticipated album “Morayo.”
Fans and music enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting his sixth studio album, and the buzz around its release date intensified after Big Wiz dropped a smooth R&B track titled “Piece of My Heart” on Friday, October 18, 2024, featuring American soul artist Brent Faiyaz.
Following the single’s release, Billboard confirmed that ‘Morayo‘ would be out on November 22, 2024. Although this date had been widely speculated, Wizkid’s team hadn’t officially addressed it.
However, on October 18, 2024, Wizkid took to Instagram to confirm the album’s November 22, 2024 release. Known for occasionally missing release dates, this announcement, paired with a pre-save link, reassured fans that the project is indeed on the way.
Alongside the announcement, he shared a brief snippet showcasing traditional influences, hinting that the album will offer a diverse musical experience.
