Herbert Wigwe, co-founder of Access Bank and founder of Wigwe University, tragically passed away in a helicopter crash in California, United States. Nigerian superstars Davido and Don Jazzy have expressed their sorrow over the news.
Wigwe, along with his wife, son, and three other passengers, were aboard the chopper headed to Las Vegas when it crashed near the California-Nevada border on Friday night. The United States Federal Aviation Administration has confirmed the crash, which happened around 10:00 p.m. local time near Nipton, California. Authorities are still searching for survivors, and the incident remains under investigation with no official statement released yet.
