Skales stirs controversy as he declares love for Davido
On January 1, 2024, Nigerian artist Skales created a stir online when he openly expressed his love for Afrobeats star Davido.
The ‘Shake Body‘ singer took to his Twitter page on January 1, 2024, declaring that he has an overwhelming affection for the Omo Baba Olowo (‘Child of a Wealthy Person’).
His proclamation generated significant attention, especially considering his previous close association with his former labelmate, Wizkid, who had been a longtime rival to Davido until they resolved their differences in December.
Skales accompanied his statement with a video of Davido enjoying himself in the club with his DMW crew and aide, Israel, while singing along to Asake’s song.
