‘Travel and tour artistes’ – Shatta Wale mocks colleagues struggling for audience abroad
Controversial Ghanaian Dancehall artist, Shatta Wale has backed Fameye after the latter criticized the lack of international backing for Ghanaian acts.
Fameye admitted on the “Day Show with Berla Mundi” that he was upset with the poor attendance at his event in the United Kingdom. He blamed the phenomenon on a lack of support from Ghanaians in the diaspora.
In a tweet, Shatta Wale encouraged fans to applaud Fameye and said that if he had made the same remarks as Fameye, he would have faced accusations of disliking his colleagues.
“Guys clap for @Fameye ????????????????????. If I talk p3 dem go talk say ,Ade hate my colleagues .. Over to you Travel and tour artiste !!” he posted.

Recall, Shatta Wale posted on August 17th, praising Nigerian musician Asake on a fantastic O2 stadium concert while ridiculing his colleagues’ rivals for not being able to reach such heights.
The post sparked criticism from industry insiders, who accused Shatta of undermining rather than supporting his colleagues.
