Fast-rising Nigerian artist Khaid has candidly revealed his preference for dating older women. In a recent interview, the “Carry Me Go” sensation shared that he has never been romantically involved with women his own age or younger.
When questioned about his age and dating preferences by a female interviewer, Khaid openly acknowledged his attraction to women who are older than him by several months or years. He responded by saying, “I don’t know… throughout my life, I’ve always found myself in relationships with women who are older than me. I don’t think I’ve ever been involved with someone younger than me.”

In recent news, Khaid has unveiled the type of job he held before being discovered and signed by Sydney Talker.
During an interview on EchoRoom, the artist shared this revelation while narrating his journey from humble beginnings to success.
Khaid disclosed that he used to work as a mechanic before Sydney Talker discovered his talent. He recounted how the popular skit maker found him on Instagram, where he regularly posted his freestyle videos.
Detailing his signing process, Khaid explained that after receiving a direct message from Sydney, he was invited to Sydney’s home. There, he produced approximately five trap songs in Sydney’s in-home studio. It was at the conclusion of this session that Sydney told him, “you’re signed,” making him the first musician to be signed to Neville Records in this manner.
Khaid further shared that prior to Sydney Talker’s DM, he had been earning a living as a mechanic.
