Afrobeats sensation Davido has received a prestigious award for his significant contributions as a co-writer on American singer Chris Brown’s global hit song, ‘Under The Influence‘.
The National Music Publishers Association (NMPA), responsible for certifying songwriters of RIAA certified singles, has honored Davido with a platinum songwriting award in recognition of his role in crafting ‘Under The Influence‘.
The song was initially released on October 3, 2019, as part of Chris Brown’s album ‘Indigo’. However, it gained massive popularity and went viral around mid-2021, setting various records worldwide.
