Cassper says “AKA Beef Was Exaggerated And They Were Getting Along Very Well,”. In the South African hip-hop scene, Cassper Nyovest and the late rapper AKA were longtime rivals and were thought of as bitter competitors.

Following the shooting death of AKA in Durban, Cassper reportedly made a visit to the Forbes family to offer his condolences. The SundayWorld claims that Cassper Nyovest assured AKA’s family that he and Kiernan were on good terms and that rumours of their rivalry were baseless.

Cassper, who was on a business trip, reportedly apologised for being unable to attend the tribute and funeral.

“Cassper Nyovest arrived there and told AKA’s family that the much-publicised beef between him and AKA was over-exaggerated and that they were getting along very well and shared the same vision. He then told the family that he would not be able to attend the funeral because he was flying out of the country on a business trip.”

The two rappers have conflicting feelings about their union. The two could be seen hugging and giving each other a high five during the soccer match between Hip-hop and Maskandi. A few weeks later, they were also seen at a gathering when they were about to engage in physical interaction.
Despite his intense rivalry with AKA, Cassper implored his followers to support his family and the Supa Mega fandom in the wake of their tragedy.
“To all my fans, pls send all your love to the Megacy and family. The nation is mourning & could use more love and less evil.” Tweeted Cassper Nyovest.
