Banky W reveals he never wanted to marry an entertainer

Banky W discloses he had no intention of marrying someone from the Entertainment industry.
Olubankole Wellington, better known by his stage as Banky W, has admitted that he had no intention of getting married to someone in the entertainment industry.
The award-winning musician said that he had earlier pleaded to God not to let him marry an entertainer because he did not want to be in the same room as his wife during an interview on the #WithChude segment.
He admitted that he had never liked the thought of marrying an entertainer and that his desire had always been to marry a woman in the corporate world.
God, however, had different plans for him after he wed none other than the well-known Nigerian actress, Adesua Etomi.
Banky W also stated that his wife on the other hand never wanted to marry a politician, a musician, or a pastor but unfortunately, she got attached to a musician who doubles as a politician.
He added that God answers every prayer but only answers it in a way that is aligned with His will and since they never wanted to struggle against the will of God, they allowed His will to be done.

As a reminder, the beautiful couple tied the knot in 2017 and unlike other celebrity marriages that eventually never succeed, Banky W and Adesua Etomi have managed to keep their bond stronger over the last few years despite their troubles.
After many years of marriage, they welcomed their first child in 2021, a baby boy, Zaiah.
