In November 2020, a video of Nigerian artist Alexandar Akande, better known by his stage name 9ice, fondling a woman who was not his wife went viral on social media, sparking outrage.

Another picture of him naked got viral as well. In response to the viral video, the musician asked fans to beg his wife for his “shameful” behaviour on November 21.

“Save a sinking vessel,” he captioned a video of himself pleading with supporters to beg for forgiveness from his wife.

On Monday, February 11, 2019, 2Baba took to Twitter to make a cryptic tweet pleading with his wife.

He apologized to his wife and the mother of two of his children in a tweet for an unspecified reason.

In 2021, his marriage with Annie Idibia experienced some turbulence after Annie took to Instagram to call him out and his family.

After some back and forth between Annie and her inlaws, she and her husband buried their misunderstanding after 2Baba publicly begged his wife.

In a post on Instagram, 2Baba, who has pleaded with social media to leave his family alone, melted his wife’s heart further, with an unmistakable apology, on his birthday.

During that time, Oritse Femi used his Instagram page to plead with his wife to return home, accusing Caroline of being the ‘evil’ in their relationship.

Caroline responded by implying that there was domestic abuse between the marriage, but the artist denied being a wife beater.
