Seun Kuti has responded to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s invitation to take part in a peace walk at the Lekki tollgate.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu invited Seun Kuti alongside other celebrities to a peace walk as part of measures to ensure peace in Lagos state.
On Tuesday evening, the singer posted his reaction to his Instastories, stating that he’s listening to Craig David’s “Walking Away.”
In a Live video, Seun also advised the Governor to admit that the job is bigger than he can carry and step down.
In another response to the invitation, the musician stated in an interview on Channels Television on Tuesday, November 30 that he does not need to walk beside the Governor before the state is at peace.
Seun Kuti went on to say that ensuring justice for all victims of police brutality and human rights violations is the first step toward bringing peace to the state.

He said;
“I don’t need to walk next to the governor before there is peace in Lagos.
“The governor should walk the walk he is talking about by bringing about justice. The governor is not an embodiment of justice, Seun Kuti is not an embodiment of justice, Falz is not an embodiment of justice, Mr Macaroni is not an embodiment of justice also.”
Seun Kuti isn’t the only celebrity to decline the peace walk as Falz and Mr Macaroni have also turned the Governor’s invitation, with Falz calling it a joke and disrespectful.
