Nigerian Singer, Wizkid has earned another Gold certification thanks to “Essence“
Wizkid’s groundbreaking single, “Essence,” was certified Gold in the United States on September 2, 2021.
To be precise, this is the version that featured Tems, which peaked at No. 54 on the Billboard Hot 100, as opposed to the version with Justin Bieber, which peaked at No. 13 on the same chart.
The Recording Industry Association of America [RIAA] awards a gold certification when a song or album sells the equivalent of 500,000 copies, which includes both streaming and physical sales.
