Nigerian Musician, Slimcase is on a quest to reintroduce rappers to the public eye.
The 39-year-old took the decision after noticing a decrease in the number of rappers.
You may have seen his rap show “The Slimcase Show” on Instagram, where he invites young, talented rappers from all across the country to unleash sassy bars.
He announced his goal on Instagram today, saying that he wants to put rappers back on the map.
Singers and afrobeat artists, he claims, are frequently honoured, but the kings and queens of hip hop are not.

He stated that a lack of support and encouragement caused many rappers to forsake their genre and join blues singers.
Reflecting on his vision, Slimcase confessed that the burden is clearly too great for him to bear, but he believes God will give him the power he needs to bring rap back.
