    Afrobeat star and DMW boss Davido has just had his song Jowo in the top 20 of South Africa’s iTunes songs.

    January 12th, 2020, Davido‘s Jowo has entered the top 20 South Africa’s iTunes songs, currently at no. 11.

    Jowo entered as of yesterday, but was at number 18, only for it to chart up to 11 this morning.

    TheDavidoDailyShow tweeted it was at number 18, but moved to 16 a few hours after it entered the chart.

    The singer’s fans have taken to social media to celebrate.

    A tweeter fan identified as Khaliq30bg wrote;

    “At this point it’s safe to say Davido has mastered the art of making hits.”

    A female fan identified as Obi-helena tweeted;

    “There’s really something addictive about JOWO That song makes me so happy It’s been on repeat in my house…..to the extent my friends now call me JOWO @Davido still remains the Best.”

    Recall, the singer recently took to social media to celebrate Jowo surpassing 7 million streams on YouTube.

    With this rate, Davido may be having himself another “Fall“, as Jowo is yet to attain its peak.
