    Nigerian Afrobeat star, Wizkid is a legend in his own right and is one of the most sought-after African musicians in the world, scoring major collaborations with international acts and selling out concerts worldwide.

    2020 has been favourable to Wizkid from being nominated for a Grammy thanks to his feature on Beyonce’s “Brown Skin Girl” to the release of his history-making album, “Made In Lagos”.

    As the year draws close to an end, Mp3bullet.ng compiles a list of African songs that Wizkid has been featured in.

    This list contains songs from 2Baba, DJ Maphorisa and others.

     

    Pami – DJ Tunez ft Adekunle Gold, Omah Lay

    “Pami” is owned by Wizkid’s personal DJ, DJ Tunez who features him, Adekunle Gold and Omah lay on.

    The smooth Afro R’n’B song came about within a matter of days. At the end of July, Tunez initiated the collaboration by sending out a simple tweet “Omah Lay Call Me!”

    Cool Me Down- DJ Tunez

    “Cool Me Down” is another collaboration between DJ Tunez and Wizkid. This Afropop song is one of their many collaboration that works so well.

    This song was released a week after Wizkid’s 30th birthday.

    Sponono- DJ Maphorisa X Kabza De Small X Burna Boy X Cassper Nyovest

    Amapiano is right now considered among the most lucrative African sounds and Kabza De Small is one of its pioneers.

    He and DJ Maphorisa collaborates on “Sponono” and enlists Wizkid alongside Burna Boy and Cassper Nyovest to join.

    Wizkid makes magic on this Amapiano beat.

    Opo – 2Baba

    Off 2Baba’s “Warrior” album, “Opo” serves as the 6th track on the album and it features Wizkid who never takes no prisoners, as we all know.

    The record was produced by highly skilled beatsmith, Blaq Jerzee, mixed and mastered by Ifex and Spellz.

    Omo Olomo – Reekado banks

    Produced by Blaise Beatz, “Omo Ologo” is a collaboration by Reekado and Wizzy. The song also caused a disagreement between the two after Banks announced the song during the heat of the #endSars crisis and Wizkid slammed him for his insensitivity.

    The song was supposed to be on Reekado’s “Off the Record” EP but after the disagreement, pulled it off.
