- Men of the Nigerian police force has locked journalist out of the courtroom as Naira Marley trial is in process.
It will be recalled that MP3Bullet.ng had earlier revealed that Naira Marley’s trial has been scheduled to hold today.
However, according to information gathered from punch newspaper, men of the Nigerian police force has prevented journalists from covering the court proceedings of Naira Marley’s trial.
Punch newspaper further revealed that a policeman identified as Suumonu Kazeem, ordered the gates of the court shut against journalists, saying he was acting on an order from above.
The trial is currently underway, with journalists unable to gain access to the court premises.
The Soapy crooner is being tried by the Lagos state government for breaking social distancing order by attending a crowded birthday party.
