About thirty young Leaders in Africa to compete for the grand prize of $125,000 at the Forthcoming Future Africa Leaders Awards (FALA).
The very prestigious FALA awards is billed to take place on the 31st of December at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena (LCA) Billings Way, Oregun, Ikeja.
Initially, there were about 15 million applicants from 54 countries. However, they were shortlisted to only 30 people after a rigorous screening process that took several months.
Consequently, all candidates with an age range from 16-23 have met all the criteria.
These qualifications include; being a registered applicant of the Growth Initiative Award, having registered youths through their GIA referral link, amongst others.
During a press conference, Pastor Ambrose Isesele, a member of the Central Executive Council of LoveWorld Inc shed more light on the award.
He said;
“Selected nominees have also mentor definite sets of young people, whose mentorship is providing the young people with guidance and direction that will, in turn, make them leaders and people of repute in future, encouraging the leadership of youth by youth,”
He also revealed that there would be ten finalists, then a star winner of the grand prize.
According to him, these ten people would go home with $10,000, while the winner would get an extra $25,000.
7th Edition of it’s kind, FALA is an innovation of the LoveWorld President established to recognize the commitment of young leaders to the progress and development of the continent.
