The American rapper Opens Up About Overcoming Emotional Trauma Following Tory Lanez Shooting
Megan Thee Stallion stripped down for her latest magazine cover, and while the photos are eye-catching in their own right, there’s also a lot of substance in the interview. Thee Stallion looked stunning in the latest issue of Women’s Health, posing entirely naked.
The gorgeous rapper, 29, showed off her fit physique for the magazine’s Body Issue. Megan stood stunningly in the nude, wearing wavy hair.
Megan talked out about overcoming her grief and hurt following her former buddy Tony Lanez’s gunshot of her in the foot at a party they attended together in July 2020.
Despite being the victim, the singer faced criticism from fellow artists and those who questioned her account of that night.
‘I knew I wasn’t myself. It took me a while to acknowledge that I was depressed,’ she said in the interview, getting emotional.
The celebrity started working out to channel her energy into something positive and started treatment to improve her mental health. Megan works out four to five times a week, doing Pilates, going to the gym to do the stairmaster or elliptical and working with her two trainers.
Megan, who designed a sportswear collection for Nike, also enjoys beach workouts, and runs up and down the sand for 40 minutes as cardio.
She also does strength training and said she does leg extensions, goblet squats, hip thrusts, weighted sit ups, lat flies, goblet squats, leg extensions, renegade rows, and lat pulldowns, to name a few.
The star also changed her diet, reducing the amount of red meat, cognac, soda, juice, tuna melts and bread she ate.
Her daily meal plan usually includes a smoothie or green juice for breakfast, salmon with veggies for lunch and dinner, and veggies as her snack of choice.

She adds that she still enjoys dark chocolate and pepper jack cheese, but doesn’t ‘go overboard.’
Megan says she also journals daily in the morning, meditates, prays, plays with her dogs, listens to music and applies a face mask.
She said ‘alone time is something I need,’ and that she relishes in her self-care mornings.
‘I like getting up and being able to be at peace,‘ the star said, adding that she loves taking showers because she loves the sound of water.
