Carlo Ancelotti makes stance on Real Madrid stay abundantly clear.
Because of his commitment to his contract, Carlo Ancelotti believes he will “without a doubt” continue leading Real Madrid into the upcoming campaign.
Brazil, which is seeking a new manager after Tite’s exit following the 2022 World Cup, has publicly coveted the Italian, although Ancelotti has always tried to distance himself from leaving the Bernabeu.
The recent statements from the former manager of Chelsea, AC Milan, and Juventus show he has no plans to leave Real Madrid after this season. However, According to reports in March that Real Madrid had not yet made a decision about Ancelotti’s future after this one, keeping Brazil waiting in their pursuit of the manager.
“I think so,” Ancelotti said when asked if he still retained the support of the hierarchy in Madrid. “The president has always been very affectionate with me and he still is.
“We have to look forward. We will be here next season without a doubt because we are going to respect the contract.”
The resolute attitude comes soon after Ancelotti shot off rumours that he may go back to Chelsea and take Graham Potter’s job after the latter was just let go.
“I’m sad. I have fantastic memories of my time at the club. I spent two very good years there,” he said before the recent 2-0 victory over the Blues. “I won’t return there. I think [Frank] Lampard will do a very good job.”
We are aware Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, is still a huge supporter of Ancelotti but is willing to think about the club’s future at the conclusion of the season, especially given that Los Blancos are finding it difficult to compete with Barcelona for first place in La Liga.
Ancelotti looks to have made his sentiments quite obvious, and given the Italian’s admiration, he is likely to stay at the Bernabeu if he so chooses, especially if the team goes on to win yet another Champions League.
