Afropunk Festival is an annual arts festival that featured music, film, fashion, and art produced by black artists.
Beginning in 2005 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York, in later years Afropunk Festivals were also held in Atlanta, Paris and London. The festival grew out of the 2003 documentary titled Afro-Punk which studied black punks across America.
