Brymo Reacts To Peter Okoye’s Statement To Seun Kuti

Brymo has criticised his colleague Mr. P for disparaging his late father and bragging about being “self-made” in an effort to cast Seun Kuti as less capable of finding success on his own without the help of his family.
Prior to the 2023 presidential elections, singer Seun Kuti had characterised Peter Obi as an opportunist, and this prompted a direct retort from Peter Okoye.
Mr. P and the eldest son of Fela got into a verbal spat online, calling each other names in reference to Peter’s choice of presidential candidate and his participation in the political campaign asking people to vote for his mentor.
According to Kuti, Mr. P had no moral justification to do so because he had close ties with politicians and wealthy individuals who were causing ‘hardship’ for the poor.
However, in response to Seun, Peter Okoye disparaged him by using multiple harsh languages.
While attempting to prove his point on how much he and his twin brother have thrived to make a name for their ‘unknown’ family as well as prove Seun Kuti was nothing without his family’s name, Mr P, in a post tagged, “OnlyTalksWithNoSolution Part 4”, stated: “My late father was a nobody but today everyone knows the OKOYES!! Dude, try removing KUTI from your name make I know weda anybody sabi you!

Brymo commented on Peter’s tweet and questioned why he had not yet deleted a statement belittling his father to demonstrate his success as a self-made celebrity.
Brymo’s reply read:
