According to reports, American singer Ariana Grande and her husband Dalton Gomez have separated and are getting a divorce.
According to TMZ, the couple has reportedly been apart since July 2023 and is currently working toward getting a divorce in writing.
Since she began filming the musical Wicked in December 2022, the singer has been far from Dalton.
Many find this surprising considering that Ariana only recently posted on her Instagram page on their second anniversary in May 2023.
The celebrity was not wearing her magnificent wedding ring when she was recently photographed at the Wimbledon event with Johnathan Bailey and Andrew Garfield. Before the news was validated, this led to the early rumours that there was trouble in paradise.
The couple tied the knot in May 2021 in a very private ceremony at the singer’s home in Montecito. The service was very exclusive with only a select few in attendance, including her fellow ‘Victorious’ cast member and friend Liz Gillies.
They had kept their romance clandestine and hidden from the public before getting married. That is, until TMZ published images of Ariana kissing the unidentified man in a bar and eventually revealed who he was.
They began dating in January 2020, and four months later, after Ariana shared adorable photos of them cuddling on her profile, they officially joined Instagram.
They’ve been incredibly good friends throughout the entire process, according to sources close to the singer, and their families and friends have been attempting to protect them, according to TMZ.
