AG Baby tells his sickle cell story in a new song.
Adekunle Gold aka AG Baby took to social media to share a heartwarming story about his childhood in his new song.
The “Sinner” crooner released a clip from the music video on his Instagram page along with the song’s lyrics, detailing his battle with sickle cell anaemia.
Adekunle Gold declared that he does not resemble anything from his background and that the 1990s will always be remembered.
According to the father of one, he begged God for mercy on many nights and he is thankful for how he has been able to scale through this crisis.
He wrote:
“See I don’t look like wetin i don see.
I will never forget the 90s.
Many nights I go dey beg for mercy.
Sickle cell been show me crises.
Thank you for the Journey oh lord oh lord.
If i say my story o por o por.
Fire cyant cool i’m ever blazing.
I roll deep with the almighty.”

Recall in 2016, Adekunle Gold became an Ambassador for Sickle Cell Aid Foundation(SCAF), an announcement that raised questions at the time. So, this could just be adding up now.
