Adesua Etomi shares how she reacted when Banky W joined Politics.
Adesua Etomi, the wife of music executive and politician Banky W, has recounted her reaction when her husband informed her about his decision to enter politics.
In a recent interview, Adesua Etormi claimed that she was concerned when her husband revealed his political aspirations and made the decision to act on them.
She did, however, add that when she understood Banky W was following a higher purpose, her worries and anxiety vanished.
“When Banky said he was going to go into politics, I was a little bit worried,” she said.
I spoke about this many times before but I also believe that purpose is more important than fear.
I want to see him prove his purpose, so he has my support 100 percent.

As a member of the Modern Democratic Party, Banky W entered politics in 2019 to run for the federal district of Eti-Osa in the House of Representatives (MDP).
Babajide Obanikoro, the All Progressive Congress candidate, defeated him at the time (APC).
Banky W refused to back down and switched to the People’s Democratic Party from the MDP (PDP).
There, he ran for and won the party’s primary ticket for the Eti-Osa federal constituency in advance of this month’s general election.
The politician revealed in June 2020 that the year he entered politics, his marriage to Adesua experienced some challenging times.
He said the outcome of the election in 2019 “strained” his relationship, particularly after he and Adesua lost their first pregnancy — a set of twins.
