Wizkid is set to return to the Nigerian concert scene this December, with two scheduled performances in Abuja and Lagos during the country’s annual Detty December festivities.

The Afrobeats star is set to headline the Live Out Loud Music Festival in Abuja on December 13, then take the stage at the opening night of Detty December Fest in Lagos on December 18. The dates mark his first announced headline performances in Nigeria for 2026.
His Abuja appearance is scheduled for Sunday, December 13, at Eagle Square, with the festival expected to run from 5 p.m. until 11:55 p.m. Organisers have listed 4 p.m. as the gate-opening time, while tickets and reservations are available through the event’s Tix Africa ticketing platform.
Five days later, Wizkid is expected in Lagos for the opening night of Detty December Fest on Friday, December 18. The event will take place at the Detty Festival Stage, though details on his performance time and ticketing arrangements are yet to be confirmed.
The two bookings place the Grammy-winning singer among the major acts expected to feature in Nigeria’s busy end-of-year entertainment calendar. December concerts have become a major attraction for music fans at home and Nigerians in the diaspora who return for the holidays.
With Abuja and Lagos on his schedule, Wizkid’s announced appearances offer fans in both cities an opportunity to see him perform during the festive season. More information about the Lagos show is expected from the organisers ahead of the event.
