Nigerian artist and producer Young Jonn has unveiled the official music video for 2Factor, his collaboration with Asake and South African star Focalistic.

The video, shot in Johannesburg, brings the song to life with vibrant scenes inspired by nightlife and urban culture, capturing the essence of connection, energy, and entertainment that the track represents.
The visuals, directed by Larnelle Bakala, creatively play on the concept of “two-factor authentication,” using it as a metaphor for the dynamic and layered experiences of nightlife.
Ahead of the video release, the trio delivered a live performance of 2Factor at the Gold Rush Dome, marking their first time performing the track together. The set also featured the fan favorite Che Che, adding to the excitement around the collaboration.
Since dropping in November 2025 as part of Young Jonn’s Blue Disco album, 2Factor has recorded over 208 million streams across digital platforms. The track has made its mark on major streaming services like Apple Music, Spotify, and Shazam, gaining traction in over 20 countries, including Nigeria, Ghana, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates.
Speaking on the collaboration, Young Jonn highlighted the long-standing connection between Nigerian and South African music scenes.
“Nigerian and South African collaborations are not a new thing; they’ve been around for quite a while now,” he said. “It’s culture. Us being able to work amongst ourselves really shows how important winning together is for us. Regardless of the genres we’re in, we still manage to join forces and come up with something magical.”
Before stepping fully into the spotlight as an artist, Young Jonn built his reputation as a hit-making producer, working on tracks like Shakiti Bobo by Olamide and Mafo by Naira Marley. Over time, he has successfully transitioned into a performer, collaborating with top acts such as Davido, Tiwa Savage, and Kizz Daniel.
The release of 2Factor further strengthens the growing wave of cross-border collaborations between Nigerian and South African artists, highlighting the shared influence and unity within Africa’s music landscape.
