Controversial street-hop singer Portable has launched a fresh attack on Nigeria’s biggest music stars, accusing the likes of Wizkid, Davido, Olamide, and Burna Boy of dominating the industry and leaving little room for emerging talents.

In a fiery rant that quickly went viral online, Portable claimed that veteran artistes have remained at the top of the music scene for over a decade, arguing that their continued dominance has made it difficult for younger acts to break through and shine.
The Zazoo Zeh crooner also aimed at the extravagant lifestyles often associated with top artists, alleging that some stars exaggerate the value of their luxury items to impress fans and the public.
“They also lie a lot,” Portable said. “They can say they bought a chain for one billion dollars, whereas it might have been given to them for free.”
Known for his outspoken, unfiltered, and often controversial remarks, Portable’s comments are already sparking debate online, with fans and industry watchers weighing in on his claims.
As expected, the rant is likely to provoke reactions from fellow artists and further fuel conversations about power, longevity, and access within Nigeria’s music industry.
