December Heat! Davido & Wizkid Set To Hit Cotonou Stage

Nigerian superstars Davido and Wizkid are gearing up to shut down Cotonou as they headline this year’s WeLovEya Festival, setting the stage for one of West Africa’s most talked-about December events.

The festival is locked in for December 27 and 28 at the iconic Place de l’Amazone, with performances kicking off at 5 p.m. on both days.

For fans, this joint appearance is a major moment. Davido and Wizkid aren’t just chart-toppers, they’re two of the most influential African artists in the world, and seeing them on the same bill only amplifies the festival’s reputation as a powerhouse platform for Afrobeats and urban music.

Over the years, the WeLovEya Festival has built a loyal following thanks to its electric atmosphere and commitment to celebrating African urban culture.

Beyond the music, the organizers have also carved a reputation for giving back, often channeling part of the proceeds into community projects across Benin.

With the continent’s biggest stars set to light up the stage, this year’s edition is expected to pull massive crowds.

Fans hoping to experience the magic are encouraged to grab their tickets early; this is one show destined to leave Cotonou buzzing long after the lights go out.
