Nigerian singer and Alté pioneer BOJ has officially unveiled plans for his upcoming sixth studio album, “Duplicity,” slated for release on Thursday, December 5, 2025.

The announcement arrived alongside a visually stunning teaser that immediately sparked excitement among fans online.
Set against moody blue lighting and cinematic visuals, the short clip captures BOJ in his signature calm and confident vibe before the title “Duplicity” flashes boldly in red, confirming both the name and date of the album.
Following the success of his last project, 12 Summers, this new body of work marks another defining chapter in BOJ’s journey as one of the leading architects of Nigeria’s Alté movement.
Renowned for his effortless blend of Afrobeats, R&B, and Palmwine-inspired grooves, BOJ has built a reputation for crafting music that balances rhythm with reflective storytelling.
“Duplicity” is expected to carry that same creative DNA soulful yet experimental and is rumored to feature some exciting collaborations that reflect the evolution of African alternative music.
As anticipation builds, fans are counting down to December 5, when BOJ is set to deliver what could easily become one of the standout Alté releases of the year.
