Pcee Opens Up: ‘I Feel So Underrated’

Khulekani Nxumalo, popularly known as Pcee, has voiced his dissatisfaction with the South African music industry, stating that he feels undervalued despite his efforts to become a top Amapiano star.

In a recent Instagram story, Pcee shared his feelings, saying, “I feel so underrated.”

The musician elaborated on his frustrations in a heartfelt Instagram post, expressing his ambitions to reach international heights. Pcee revealed that his ultimate goals include winning prestigious awards like the Grammy and BET Awards, amassing wealth, and releasing 40 albums that would top global charts.

“A lot of people say I’ve made it in life, but I haven’t even done 1% of what I aspire to. My dream is to win a Grammy Award, and a BET Award, and become a multimillionaire in dollars. I want to fill stadiums with just my name and be among the richest people in the world,” he wrote.

Pcee also expressed his desire to leave a lasting legacy: “If God can answer my daily prayers, then even after I’m gone, my name will live forever. Reaching the next level to become one of the greatest is challenging, and it hurts me every day.

It’s sad to see some South African artists working against you, trying to hold you back instead of supporting each other’s growth. I’m really not OK.” Pcee’s raw and honest words reflect his determination to succeed globally, but they also highlight the hurdles he faces within the South African music scene.
