Catch up to a preview of the long-awaited Wizkid collaboration with Nicki Minaj.
Nicki Minaj has finally given fans a taste of her much-anticipated collaboration with Afrobeats sensation Wizkid. The American rapper and singer, born Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, surprised her followers during a recent Instagram live by sharing a snippet of the track they recorded together eight years ago.
The pair first sparked collaboration rumours when a studio photo of them went viral years back, igniting speculation among fans.
Despite the hype, no music has materialized until now. While it’s unclear if the full track will ever be officially released, the teaser has reignited excitement, with fans eagerly hoping to hear the entire song soon.

Meanwhile, after the release of his fifth studio album, “The Entertainer: D’Sequel,” D’Banj received immense support from fellow artists, with Wizkid being one of the most notable.
Wizkid took to his social media platform to express his excitement about the new project, a gesture that quickly caught D’Banj’s attention. The ‘Koko Master‘ himself responded to Wizkid’s post with a simple yet enthusiastic “OOOOshhhheeeee.”
In addition, Wizkid has always been open about his early years spent around the Mo’ Hits family, revealing that he lived with them for a significant period without their knowledge. Though he remained unnoticed during that time, he regarded them as his family.
In his post, Wizkid warmly acknowledged the entire Mo’ Hits crew, including D’Banj, Don Jazzy, Wande Coal, Dr. Sid, and D’Prince, recognizing their collective contributions to African music.
