Nigerian music mogul Don Jazzy has expressed his reaction to a trending video featuring a South African woman admitting to falsely accusing her Nigerian partner of rape.
In the podcast interview, the South African woman confessed to falsely accusing her Nigerian partner, who is also the father of her first child, of rape due to societal taboos surrounding relationships with Nigerians.
She detailed how her false accusation led to the Nigerian man being imprisoned for a year until the birth of their child. Fortunately, she later admitted to the police that he was the father after a paternity test, resulting in his release. However, the trauma from the ordeal led the man to relocate to Europe, then London.
The woman admitted to concealing the truth from her subsequent husband, who tragically passed away in a car accident. Despite the Nigerian man’s attempts to reconcile, she continued to ignore him.

Reacting to the video, Don Jazzy expressed his strong disapproval, stating that individuals who falsely accuse others of rape should face legal consequences.
He emphasized that such actions are condemnable and called for justice, asserting that those responsible should be held accountable.
He wrote, “If you accuse an innocent person of rape, cursed be you. You should be in jail.”
