Kizz Daniel Sparks Controversy: Removes Philkeyz’s Tag on ‘Cough (Odo)’ Produced Track
In a recent social media post, renowned Afrobeat producer Philkeyz revealed that he was the mastermind behind Kizz Daniel’s track “Cough (Odo).” However, to Philkeyz’s surprise, Kizz Daniel removed his production tag and replaced it with Blaise Beats without obtaining Philkeyz’s consent.
During an interview, Philkeyz expressed his dismay over the situation, mentioning that he confronted Kizz Daniel regarding the alteration. However, instead of addressing the matter directly, Kizz Daniel opted to send his brother, who also serves as his manager, to handle the discussion.
Philkeyz emphasized that this wasn’t the first instance of Kizz Daniel disregarding proper credit, highlighting a recurring pattern of behaviour where Kizz Daniel chooses to sidestep accountability.

Again, following weeks of teasing fans about a possible collaboration, Kizz Daniel and Davido join forces on the Twe Twe Remix.
This marks their second collaboration together, following One Ticket, released in 2018. Since its debut on December 12th, “Twe Twe” has consistently dominated the Nigerian charts and airwaves, emerging as one of YouTube’s most-streamed songs.
The remix not only aims to reintroduce the party starter but also injects it with the vibrant, energetic chemistry between the duo.
Davido’s wordplay, short as it may be, brings about the necessary ingredients needed for perfecting the song.
