Nigerian artist Abolore Adigun, also known as 9ice, has been bestowed with a chieftaincy title in Ogun State.
The acclaimed music icon joyfully conveyed this news to his fans via a post on his Instagram page.
The bestowed title, “Amuludun of Ijofin Kingdom,” can be translated as “Chief Entertainer of Ijofin Kingdom.” Demonstrating appreciation, 9ice expressed gratitude to the king of the Ijofin Kingdom for the honor and committed to ongoing support for Nigeria.
In his statement on social media, 9ice wrote, “ARE AMULUDUN IJOFIN KINGDOM IPOKIA YEWA. THANKS TO HRM OBA MORUF AWODE AND THE ENTIRE FAMILY OF GUSANU AND THE PEOPLE OF IJOFIN KINGDOM, YEWA OGUN STATE AND EVERYONE.”
