Afropop singer, Joeboy offloads his latest project, Body, Soul & Spirit – a place where melodies and emotions converge.
The singer’s project is an extended effort of the original body of work, Body & Soul which was released earlier in the year. Housing 5 tracks, the project showcases the artist’s diverse range of creative expression.
Keeping up with the lover boy image, as usual, Joeboy introspectively sways the project by reflecting his spiritual journey on Only God Can Save Me to reaffirm his commitment on 24/7 and Telephone. in a rather emotional confession he takes blame for whatever discomfort or disagreement his relationship might have experience on Enemy.
Even a more striking emotional sequence falls in, “Surviving”. The vocal composure and rhythmic display are accompanied by an infectious choral humming, with soft guitar strings to render listeners into the sober mood.
Joeboy enlisted the help of producers Debo, Culture, and BeatsByKO to on the EP’s production. They add a wide variety of musical elements to the EP, which improves its overall soundscape. Joeboy and these producers work in unison to give each song a depth and richness that makes for a seamless and engrossing listen.
