PSG omit Mbappe from Japan pre-season tour squad and are ready to sell him to Real Madrid.
Kylian Mbappe has been omitted from Paris Saint-Germain’s pre-season tour of Japan.
L’Equipe reports that PSG is certain that Mbappe will sign a free transfer agreement with Real Madrid at the end of the current campaign. The 24-year-old will apparently not be permitted to play for the club once more, and the Parisians are supposedly making him available to interested purchasers.
Mbappe has consistently stated that he has no plans to extend his current contract, which is up next summer. However, PSG does not want the France captain to depart for nothing, therefore they are attempting to recover at least some of the €180 million (£166 million/$194 million) they paid on him in 2017.
Madrid is anticipated to be one of Mbappe’s suitors. After current Ballon d’Or winner, Karim Benzema left for Saudi Pro League team Al-Ittihad last month, Los Blancos do not anticipate having a recognized striker in their lineup this season.
According to The Athletic, numerous clubs have expressed interest in signing Mbappe.
The midfielder, who now appears destined to play outside of Parc des Princes next season, will receive bids from PSG.
