    Black Sherif’s remarkable year was capped off when his blockbuster hit, “Kwaku the Traveller,” was named the 2022 most streamed hip-hop/Rap song on the Turntable Magazine list.

    The remix of the song featuring Nigeria’s Burna Boy came second on the Turntable Magazine list.

    ArrDee’s ‘Come & Go,’ “Always” by Darkoo, Jack Harlow’s “First Class,” “Hustle” by Reminisce featuring BNXN fka Buju and D Smoke, “Hustle” by JAE5 featuring BNXN fka Buju and Dave, Olamide’s “Hate Me” featuring Wande Coal, “Running” by Ladipoe featuring Fireboy DML, and “Wait For You” by Future featuring Tems and Drake round out the top 10 on the list.

    Recall, Black Sherif has confidently said this is just the formative stage of his career which promises to be illustrious in years to come.

    The youngster, albeit new in the game- presently rubs shoulders with mainstream artists and is regarded as one of the biggest acts in Ghana and Africa. He has attracted rave reviews from industry players and colleagues with the latest coming from American stars Snoop Dogg.

    In a recent interview on BBC Radio 1 Xtra, Akon in particular raved about the fast-emerging Ghanaian rapper and composer. The distinguished performer of Senegalese heritage declared that Black Sherif is one of his favourites and that he would sign him in the absence of a large label.
