The organizers of the 2022 Ballon d’Or awards has officially confirmed the football club of the year in a recent announcement.

The football club of the year for 2022 has been revealed during one of the largest football award shows, the Ballon d’Or. The football club of the year was announced to be Manchester City, with Liverpool and Real Madrid rounding out the top three.

The award, which was received by Kevin De Bruyne and Ederson alongside the top officials at the Manchester City side, recognized the efforts of the English side, who gathered a staggering 93 points in the premier league and scored over 150 goals across all competitions.
