The music of Nigeria is getting more intriguing every day, with hit songs from various record labels and independent artists, particularly those who are rapidly expanding.
But the music wouldn’t be complete without praising the songwriters, record producers, and sound engineers for their contributions.
I’ll list the Nigerian music producers who created the incredible songs we are now listening to with you guys in this article.

Reward is a young and gifted record producer from Nigeria. He plays the Amapiano drums while flexing with the pop sounds.
He is responsible for Kizz Daniel’s number-one single “Buga,” Magixx’s “Shaye” and “All Over,” and Iyanya’s “Like,” which features Davido and Kizz Daniel.
Producer Reward Beatz goes by the moniker Banga! (run nau!).
Magicsticks Beats
Oluwasunkami Temitayo Kareem, often known as Magicsticks, is the composer of all the incredible songs by Asake, a rising star in the YBNL.
The youthful and gifted musician has maintained consistency ever since DJ Neptune, the owner of his first major produced song titled “Nobody,” which features Mr. Eazi and Joeboy, released it.
He is the author of practically all the catchy tunes we have been exposed to over the last four to five months of this year. “Tune into the king of sounds and blues” is the producer moniker that has made him famous.
All of the tracks on Asake’s debut album, “Mr Money with The Vibe,” were produced by Magicsticks.
Finally, he created the number-one single “Normally” by Young Jonn.
Telz
Grammy award-winning record producer, Telz is one of the sought-after music producers in Nigeria. Telz had been consistent since his chart-topping singles on Burna Boy’s “Twice as Tall” album.
Currently, he’s behind the production of some sultry records on the music charts such as; “Ashawo” by Fireboy DML, “Common Person”, and “Cloak & Dagger” by Burna Boy, to mention a few.
Telz is the man behind the producer tag, PUN KILLA!
Pheelz
Producer extraordinaire, multi-award-winning record producer, known for his tag “Rii”, is apparently one of the best music producers in Nigeria and Africa at large. Known for tons of amazing songs in the country for the longest time now.
Pheelz is one of the most highly respected music makers in the country. Worked with the likes of Olamide, Adekunle Gold, Fireboy DML, Davido, Teni, and others.
Recently, he switched to singing and has released two chart-topping songs; ‘Finesse’ featuring BNXN and ‘Electricity’ featuring Davido.
Recall that Pheelz made it to Barrack Obama’s 2022 summer playlist with his chart-topper joint, “Finesse” featuring BNXN.
The music video for his latest single ‘Electricity’ featuring Davido has surpassed 10 million views on YouTube.
P. Priime
Peace One of the most sought-after music producers right now is Emmanuel Oredope, better known by his stage name P. Priime. popular because of his moniker, “P!”
P. Priime has released many infectious songs over the previous few months, including:
Fireboy DML and Asake’s “Bandana,” Victony’s “Apollo,” Omah Lay’s “Woman,” Reekado Banks’ “Ozumba Mbadiwe,” and a few tunes from Asa’s album “V,” to name a few.
Niphkeys
Niphkeys is one of the guys that are big on the Amapiano fusions. His heavy drum lines blend with the pop sounds, mixed with the African shaker effects that had always worked for him. Niphkeys had produced a couple of amazing songs for Marlian Music artist, Zinoleesky.
More recently, he co-produced “Dada Remix” by Young Jonn and also produced “I’m a mess” by Omah Lay, to mention a few.
Tempoe
Tempoe is one of the guys that has been consistent since last year. Produced a couple of nice songs in 2021 including ‘Alcohol’ by Joeboy and other smash hits.
Recently, he worked with Omah Lay to deliver songs like ‘Soso’, ‘Bend You’ and ‘Understand’. Known for his producer tag, ‘MAD!’.
