Nigerian Award-winning singer and performer, Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ, popularly known as Brymo, will star alongside Odunlade Adekola and other heavyweight Nollywood actors in Wole Soyinka‘s “The King’s Horseman,” a movie set to be released later in the year.
The Sonic artist will be starring in the highly-anticipated movie.
Netflix and EbonyLife film’s latest title ‘Elesin Oba, The King’s Horseman’ is set to make its world premiere at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival.
The title which is an adaptation of Wole Soyinka’s tragic play ‘Death and the King’s Horseman,’ will feature at the festival’s Special Presentation category, making it the first Yoruba language film hit the milestone.

The movie, which is being directed by Blood Sisters’ Biyi Bandele, is based on the tragic play “Death and the King’s Horseman” by Nigerian Nobel Prize winner Wole Soyinka.
The highly anticipated movie will feature actors such as Odunlade Adekola, Shaffy Bello, Deyemi Okanlawon, Omowunmi Dada, Jide Kosoko, Mark Elderkin, Jenny Stead, Langley Kirkwood, Fares Boulos ‘Oyibo Rebel’, Ajoke Silva, Taiwo Ajayi-Lycett, and a slew of others.
In addition to being a featured actor, Brymo’s soulful song “Orun n Mooru” from his “Yellow” album serves as the film’s soundtrack.
