Ayra Starr Says She Would Leave a Relationship for Someone She Finds More Attractive

Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has shared her honest take on relationships, revealing that she would rather end a serious relationship than stay with someone after developing an attraction to another person.
The singer made the admission while answering relationship questions on her Ask Ayra Starr show, where a woman sought her opinion on a similar situation.
According to Ayra Starr, if she were seriously involved with someone and later met another man she considered more attractive, she would choose to end her existing relationship before pursuing anything new.
For the singer, trying to maintain romantic relationships with two people at once would only create unnecessary complications.
“If I’m in a serious relationship with a guy and then I find another guy more attractive, I would break up with him instead of dating both of them at the same time. I don’t think you can love two people.. I think you need time to yourself so you can figure it out.”
Ayra Starr also used the platform to speak about the importance of friendships, warning people against losing their social connections simply because they have entered romantic relationships.
She believes being in love should not mean cutting off close friends or allowing a partner to control who you maintain relationships with.
“You should never abandon your friends because you are in love. Your partner should not isolate you from your friends because you are in a relationship. There should be a balance between friendship and relationship in love.”
Her comments have sparked conversations around attraction, commitment, and the balance between romantic relationships and friendships.
