Artists like Naira Marley, Victony, and Brymo all dropped their projects. This month’s surprising collaborations include ‘Buga‘ by Kizz Daniel and Tekno and Chris Brown on Lojay & Sarz’s remix of ‘Monalisa.’

Kizz Daniel & Tekno – Buga
Kizz Daniel seems to have released the largest record in May with ‘Buga,’ a pop hit featuring Tekno of Universal Music Group. The record was produced by Reward Beatz and released on May 3, 2022.
The lyrics video has received over 9 million views on YouTube.
Burna Boy – Last Last
Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, caused a stir after he released a song about his failed romance with Stefflon Don following their breakup.
Burna Boy directed the official video for the song, which has over 6 million views, and Chopstix, Mds, Off & Out, and Ruuben produced the soundtrack.
SPINALL – Palazzo ft Asake
Without a doubt, Asake is the most promising newcomer this year.
The youngster is topping the charts with songs like ‘Omo Ope‘ with Olamide and ‘Sungba‘ off his Ololade Asake EP, as well as the Sungba Remix with Burna Boy.

Davido – Stand Strong ft Sunday Service Choir
From his soon-to-be-released fourth album, Davido offers ‘Stand Strong,’ an experimental melody featuring angelic voices from the Sunday Service Choir.
The Nigerian popstar pours his heart out in a new song, encouraging people around the world to persist and not give in to life’s obstacles.
The song produced by Pheelz has almost two million views on Youtube.
Omah Lay – Woman
Omah Lay returns with ‘Woman,’ an afro-fusion track produced by P Priime, following his collaboration with Justin Bieber on ‘Attention.’
The song is the third single to be released from Omah Lay’s upcoming debut album, ‘Boy Alone.’ It has received over 2.4 million views on YouTube.
Zinoleesky – Loving You
In May 2022, Zinoleesky, a Marlian music sensation, released another fantastic album titled ‘Loving You.’
The song, which was launched in May 2022 as one of the top Nigerian singles, sampled Asa’s ‘Be My Man.’ The song has over 500,000 views on YouTube.
Simi-Naked Wire
Simi premieres ‘Naked Wire,’ a smooth R&B track produced by P Priime, ahead of the June 2022 release of her ‘Tbh (To Be Honest)‘ album. The words to this song are nothing short of amazing.
“Naked Wire” has over 300,000 audio views on YouTube.
Lojay & Sarz ft Chris Brown – Monalisa remix
For the remix of their 2021 hit song ‘Monalisa,’ Lojay and Sarz enlist American singer, songwriter, and performer Chris Brown. On YouTube, the song, which was posted on May 19, 2022, has over 1 million views.

Kilo – T.I Blaze ft Skiibii
