New music Friday review from Davido, Burna Boy, Zinoleesky & Asake
It’s Afrobeats championship day as Davido and Burna Boy, two of the most influential Afrobeats artists of all time, release new singles from their upcoming albums with rising artists like Zinoleesky and Asake.
Burna Boy stated at his sold-out event in Madison Square Garden, New York, that his album “Love, Damini” will be released on July 1st.
On stage, he previewed a song and informed the audience that it would be the album’s second single.
He announced the album’s cover image alongside the release of the album’s following single, “Last Last.”
Davido has reportedly been working on his album for some time, and he revealed on Tuesday that he will release a single called “Stand Strong” from it.
The song will be Davido‘s attempt at something new, a new sound to demonstrate his versatility as an artist.
Furthermore, Asake has been the year’s biggest breakout artist so far, with his smash tunes “Omo Ope” featuring Olamide and “Sungba” receiving positive reviews.
Asake teamed up with DJ Spinall to deliver a smash single titled ‘Palazzo’
The YBNL Signee has made it his aim to dominate the industry with amazing music.
Meanwhile, Zinoleesky, who is expected to win the Next Rated Award at this year’s Headies Awards, which will be held on September 4th in the United States with Bentley Bentyaga as the prize, has released another tune to further cement his place in the hearts of fine music fans.
The deluge of new music published today reflects the expansion of the Nigerian music business, and it has spurred debate about who will reign supreme on the Nigerian charts, with many predicting emerging artists to outperform the giants.
