According to the dancehall performer, a private business should be able to administer the union’s affairs with government assistance and collaboration.
The singer went on to state that the tenure of the current president of MUSIGA expired three years ago since the election for his replacement has been delayed.

According to the National Elections Committee (NEC) of MUSIGA, the second postponement of the elections was caused by difficulties in generating voting registration lists.
