    Nigerian Afropop/R&B musician and composer Tomi Thomas has revealed how he collaborated on a song with legendary Jamaican musician Buju Banton.

    Tomi Thomas is a singer who came out his musical influences include Mariah Carey, Bob Marley, Fela Kuti, and Eminem.

    The afrobeat star, who has Yoruba, Igbo, and Brazilian origins, loves to experiment with diverse sounds and cultures in order to find inspiration for his compositions.

    In an interview with Adesope Olajide, the musical instrumentalist talked about his music, his visions, as well as his personal life.

    Speaking on the podcast tagged “Afrobeats Podcast,” the singer revealed how he got to feature Buju Banton on his last project, on a song titled ‘Hurricane’.

    According to Tomi, the Jamaican legend reached out to him and said that he liked the song and he which to collaborate with him.

    He appreciates Davido, Wizkid and some top artists for lighting up afrobeat music to the world. The singer also made it known that he was present at Wizkid O2 Arena concert as a fan.
