    ASAP Rocky and Rihanna have caused a stir on the internet after it was disclosed that they are expecting a child.

    According to Page Six on Monday(Jan. 31), the couple announced the baby news while taking a stroll in Harlem over the weekend.

    Last November, a tweet from Rap Mais in Portugal went viral after it claimed Rih was expecting.

    The Twitter post, translated to English, said, “Rihanna is pregnant with her first child with A$AP Rocky,” said the website.

    The announcement occurred shortly after Prime Minister Mia Mottley crowned the Bajan musician the 11th National Hero of Barbados.

    The country was also commemorating becoming a republic for the first time in its history.

    Speculation that Rih Rih maybe with a child first popped up on Sept. 10, when Dazed magazine revealed photos from their new cover shoot with the billionaire singer from their new 30th-anniversary issue.

    A couple of the photos from the spread appear to show the 33-year-old pop star with a small baby bump, leading to speculation that she is pregnant.

    Rihanna and Rocky were mum following the cover shoot reveal, but now it looks like the speculation was real.

    News of Asap Rocky and Rihanna’s relationship was initially revealed in January 2020, with confirmation later that year when they spent Thanksgiving together and were pictured in Barbados around Christmas.

    In May, Rocky opened up about what it’s like to be Rihanna’s boyfriend in an article in GQ magazine.

    “So much better when you got the one,” the 32-year-old rapper said. “She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones.” He added, “I think when you know, you know. She’s the one.”
